Best Cornhole Games that aren’t Cornhole

It’s no secret that Cornhole is one of Americas most popular lawn games. The act of tossing a bag in hole is so simple and oh so satisfying! But let’s be honest sometimes it can get a little boring. So what games are out there that mimic the same game play and action? Below is the definitive list of the best cornhole based games.

  1. Bru Bag: This gem combines the game play of beer pong and cornhole. As you make the holes you plug them with a disc. When you make all the shots you win. Balls back and On Fire are definitely in play. Cheers!
  2. Tic Bag Toe: This cornhole variation is pretty obvious. It involves the game play of tic tac toe. Players take turn throwing bags at the nine holes. Pop an X or O disc in the made hole, get three in a row, and you win!
  3. Triple Threat Cornhole: This game has the same dimensions as a regular board but has three holes. One big caveat, only bags that make it in count for points. 1 point for middle hole, 2 points for top left corner, and 3 points for bottom right.
  4. Cornskee: Skeeball meets cornhole with this fun one. The bags are round in this game and the holes vary in size. Three holes go down the middle and are bigger at the bottom to larger at the top. The smaller holes are worth less points. There are also two 5 point holes in the top corners. These are tiny but definitely the most fun to shoot for.
  5. Ultimate 21: Its a mix between Horshoes, Cornhole, and Ladder Toss. Woah is right. The cornhole board has a stake fixed to it, in place of the hole. Players attempt to throw a rope with two mini cornhole bags on either end around the stake. Just like in horseshoes, when you wrap it around the pole you get three and anything on the board is one point. This game was so different but so much fun.

Like I said cornhole is awesome but these innovative new games can be a fun addition for any occasions.
